Financial Policy
1. Introduction
These Financial Terms govern all payments, subscriptions, and financial transactions on AXORA — Africa's Growth Community. By making any payment on AXORA, you agree to these terms.
2. Nature of Transactions on AXORA
AXORA enables transactions between Community Builders (who offer content, courses, mentorship, consultancy) and Members (who pay to access value).
👉 AXORA acts as a platform and payment facilitator, not the direct seller of services.
3. Types of Payments
Payments on AXORA may include:
- Community subscriptions (monthly or yearly)
- One-time course payments
- Mentorship sessions
- Consultancy services
- Premium resources
4. Pricing Control
Community Builders set their own prices. Prices must be clearly displayed before payment. AXORA may set minimum and maximum price limits to protect users.
5. Payment Processing
Payments are processed via third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, mobile money). By paying, you authorize AXORA to process payments, store necessary payment data securely, and transfer funds to Community Builders.
AXORA does not control bank charges, mobile money fees, or currency conversion rates applied by your financial provider.
6. Currency
Payments may be processed in USD, RWF (for local users), or other supported currencies. Your bank or provider may apply additional conversion fees.
7. Subscription Terms
7.1 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically. Your billing cycle continues until you cancel.
7.2 Free Trials
If a free trial is offered, automatic charges begin when the trial ends. You must cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
8. Cancellation Policy
You can cancel a subscription from your account settings, by contacting the Community Builder, or through AXORA support. After cancellation, access continues until the end of the paid period and no further charges will be made.
9. Refund Policy
General Rule: Payments are non-refundable.
Exceptions: Refunds may occur if required by law, approved by the Community Builder, or approved by AXORA on a case-by-case basis.
Members must contact the Community Builder first for any refund request.
10. Chargebacks & Fraud
Users agree not to initiate false chargebacks and to resolve disputes in good faith. AXORA may suspend accounts, withhold earnings, or investigate suspected fraudulent activity.
11. Earnings for Community Builders
11.1 Revenue
Community Builders earn from subscriptions, courses, and services offered through their communities.
11.2 Payouts
Earnings are processed after payment confirmation. Minimum payout thresholds may apply. Payout schedules may vary by region and payment method.
11.3 Withholding Earnings
AXORA may hold funds if fraud is suspected, Terms are violated, or legal issues arise.
12. Member Access Rights
After payment, members receive limited, non-transferable, personal-use access to content. Access ends if the subscription expires, payment fails, or the account is suspended.
13. Content Ownership
Community Builders own their content. Members do not gain ownership and cannot resell, publicly share, or reproduce content for commercial use.
14. No Guarantees
AXORA does not guarantee income for creators, learning outcomes for members, or continuous availability of content.
15. Disputes Between Users
Transactions are between Member and Community Builder. AXORA is not responsible for disputes but may review complaints and take action where necessary.
16. Platform Fees
AXORA may charge transaction fees, subscription fees for builders, or service fees. These will always be disclosed before you are charged.
17. Financial Compliance
Users must follow applicable laws, provide accurate billing information, and pay taxes where required by their local jurisdiction.
18. Changes to Financial Terms
AXORA may update pricing or policies. Users will be notified where necessary.
